KUALA LUMPUR , 27 Sept – Hari yang suram menerima berita duka pemergian seorang tokoh agama dan pendakwah yang disanjung tinggi dan terkenal bukan sahaja di dalam negara tetapi di luar negara.
Tepat jam 12.30 malam, berita sedih pemergian Al-Fadhil Ustaz Mohd Fadzli al-Yamani, 49, menemui penciptaNya dikongsikan oleh anak sulung Allahyarham, Muhammad Abdul Rahman memasuki segenap muka depan laman sosial Facebook dan aplikasi WhatsApp yang dikongsi oleh sesiapa sahaja yang mengenali beliau.
Pengarah Pusat Media IKIM, Dr. Nik Roskiman Abdul Samad turut menerima panggilan telefon daripada Muhammad dari Guangzhou, China memaklumkan berita sedih pemergian ayahandanya di Guangzhou, China akibat serangan jantung. Ketika kejadian, Allahyarham baharu sahaja mendarat dari Lanzhou bersama sekitar 30 orang ahli rombongan dalam misi dakwah ke negara China, dimaklumkan rebah di lapangan terbang Guangzhou semasa menunggu bas untuk ke hotel penginapan.
Ustaz Mohd Fadzli Al-Yamani atau nama sebenarnya Syed Muhammad Fadzli bin Syed Ahmad dilahirkan pada 2 Januari 1967 di Kuala Ketil, Kedah. Beliau meninggalkan empat orang balu dan 17 orang anak yang berusia antara 20 hingga 2 minggu.
Pendidikan
Almarhum mendapat pendidikan awal di Pondok Penanti Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang. Kemudian menyambung pengajian dalam bidang pengajian Fekah di Hudaidah, Barat Yaman. Semasa menuntut di Yaman, beliau berguru dengan seorang tokoh agama tempatan terkemuka Tuan Guru Shaikh Haidar.
Beliau yang turut mendapat pendidikan di Pakistan dan Bangladesh merupakan seorang pakar fiqh Imam as-Shafei R.A, terkenal di kalangan ulama di seluruh dunia kerana ilmu dan kealimannya dalam bidang ilmu agama Islam.
Pengasas Madrasah al-Yamani
Almarhum Ustaz Fadzli merupakan pengasas Madrasah al-Yamani yang terletak di Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur ditubuhkan pada tahun 1995 sejurus selepas menamatkan pengajiannya di Yaman. Tujuan utama penubuhan madrasah ini adalah untuk mencurahkan bakti kepada masyarakat setelah lebih sepuluh tahun mendalami ilmu agama di perantauan seperti di Yaman, Pakistan dan Bangladesh.
Madrasah al-Yamani bermula secara informal dengan pengambilan hanya beberapa orang pelajar yang dikendalikan sendiri oleh al-marhum di Flat PKNS, Kampung Baru, sebelum berpindah ke tempat yang lebih besar dengan pelajar yang semakin ramai pada hari ini.
Madrasah al-Yamani berkembang secara perlahan mengikut kemampuan kewangan madrasah dan juga tempat penginapan pelajar dan tenaga pengajar. Pada waktu ini madrasah menampung seramai 90 orang pelajar. Pelajar dari luar negara adalah Thailand, Kemboja, Vietnam, Filipina, Indonesia dan Myanmar. Segala perbelanjaan dan pengurusan madrasah ditanggung secara dalaman dan juga infaq (sumbangan sedekah ) daripada individu dan syarikat persendirian. Inilah keistimewaan Madrasah al-Yamani di mana ia tidak mengenakan sebarang yuran dan semuanya ditanggung oleh Madrasah yang dianggarkan antara 60-70 ribu sebulan.
Perjalanan madrasah itu menggunakan pendekatan sistem pengajian pondok. Ianya merupakan suatu sistem pembelajaran ilmu agama cara lama yang bermula di zaman Rasulullah S.A.W di Mekah dan Madinah. Sistem itu telah bertapak di Malaysia dan Nusantara sejak berabad lamanya dan telah berjaya menghasilkan ribuan ulama’ yang warak lagi berwibawa membimbing umat ke arah mentaati perintah Allah s.w.t berasaskan al-Quran dan al-Sunnah.
Dakwah
Kecintaan yang tinggi terhadap bidang ilmu agama Islam membawa al-Marhum menjelajah ke suluruh asia tenggara, negara Timur Tengah bahkan negara-negara lain seperti China, Pakistan untuk tujuan penyebaran dakwah Islamiah.
Beliau turut mengajar kitab Mantan Zubad karangan Imam Ibn Raslan di sekolah-sekolah pondok tempatan dan luar negara seperti Kemboja, Thailand dan negara lain. Beliau juga mempunyai jadual kuliah yang padat di masjid-masjid dan surau di seluruh negara.
Pengetahuan ilmu agama yang umpama seluas air di lautan, beliau dijadikan sumber rujukan oleh para asatizah serta para pendakwah lain terutama dalam bidang fiqh. Beliau juga adalah Lembaga Penasihat Madrasah Tahfiz di Sri Lanka.
Radio IKIMfm
Almarhum adalah panel tetap rancangan Tahsinul Ibadah yang diterbitkan setiap Khamis, 10.15 pagi hingga 11.00 pagi di stesen radio IKIMfm sejak Januari 2014.
Keterangannya yang jelas, penyampaian yang mudah difahami serta ketajaman ilmu dalam bidang fiqh membuatkan program berkenaan antara rancangan radio yang mendapat sambutan tertinggi di kalangan pendengar radio ini.
Almarhum juga seorang yang amat komited dan mempunyai disiplin diri yang tinggi. Tidak hairanlah program berkenaan masih terus bertahan sehingga ke hari ini yang memasuki usia 5 tahun.
Bahkan, rancangan tersebut terus berada pada momentum yang sama menerima sambutan hangat di kalangan pendengar. Rancangan yang kini diterbitkan oleh Fairuz Haji Nordin itu pernah tercalon dalam kategori Rancangan Agama Radio Terbaik, Anugerah Seri Angkasa 2016.
Jenazah Almarhum akan dibawa pulang dari Guangzhou, China dan akan dikebumikan di tanah perkuburan Islam di Kuala Lumpur.
