Dalam tulisan dan penghakiman yang diterbitkan ini YABhg Tun Abdul Hamid telah memberikan pandangan bagi pembinaan sistem perundangan berdasarkan nilai dan acuan Malaysia serta berdasarkan kepada prinsip dan falsafah pentadbiran keadilan yang bersesuaian dengan kedudukan Islam sebagai agama bagi negara sepertimana peruntukan Perkara 3(1) Perlembagaan Persekutuan.
Kompilasi ini mengandungi idea-idea untuk “meMalaysiakan” undang-undang dan sistem perundangan negara berdasarkan prinsip asas Perlembagaan Persekutuan. Buku ini juga merupakan sumbangan IKIM dalam memperkaya khazanah bagi perundangan dan seterusnya mendatangkan hasil bagi tujuan pembinaan tamadun sebagaimana matlamat IKIM, “Memahami Islam Membina Peradaban”.
