The scientific or empirical knowledge of the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of science and technology as well as the responsibilities that humans have over them are of critical importance and they need to be addressed in science and religion discourse. The book is important as it elucidates the harmonious relationship between religion and science in the context of various issues of importance to society, such as education, philosophy and sustainable development. The history of civilisations shows that every civilization manifested its values and foundational beliefs (religion) through a comprehensive range of its cultural activities including science and technology.
